Richard Hartshorne

Richard is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Systems Technology in the Department of Educational Leadership at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He holds a B.S. in Applied Physics from Jacksonville University, as well as a M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Educational Technology - both from the University of Florida.

Richard's areas of special interest in educational technology are primarily related to online teaching and learning and emerging technologies, their affects on teaching methods and philosophies and how they influence student achievement.
